A Tapestry of Passion, Culture, and Landscapes

When you think of Argentina, the mind conjures up thoughts of passionate people. People are passionate about their sport, Tango music and dance, food, wine, history and culture. Football is very important in many Argentinean’s lives and this can be seen in the huge crowds on match day even in the smallest city. Tango is omnipresent in Buenos Aires, from the Sunday markets, Milonga dance halls and big extravaganza Tango Shows. When the Porteños hear Tango music you will see couples spontaneously come together for this sensual dance. Argentina, arguably has the best steak in the world, taking care of their grass fed cows then maximising the taste and texture with their expert cuts and cooking methods. Pairing beautifully with their steak, Argentinians love a glass or two of red wine. Due to the vastly differing landscapes there are a number of ideal growing regions and the Malbec has become their signature wine. History and culture go hand in hand more in Argentina than in most countries, the people are proud of being Argentinean and are willing to fight for it. Of strong mind and opinion, Argentineans take to the streets, or famously to the balcony of Casa Rosada in Plaza 5 de Mayo, to have their voices heard.

You will find all landscapes and geography in Argentina, stretching from the red mountainous rocks of the north such as the Salta area, the Andes Mountains in the west, thousands of kilometres of coastline to the east, pampas, forests and we must not forget to mention the glaciers and waterfalls. The Perito Moreno Glacier and the Iguazu Falls are reason enough to visit Argentina, however there is so much more to see. You will just have to keep coming back!
