Day by Day Itinerary:
Day 1: Arrival in Piura/Talara - Transfer to Vichayito
Welcome to the Northern Beaches of Peru!
On arrival, in Piura or Talara, you will be met by a private driver and transferred to your hotel in Vichayito where you can settle in and get your first glimpse of the Peruvian coast and its desert meets beach landscapes.
From your hotel you will enjoy the spectacular sunsets, sunny days and a quiet beach.
Vichayito is a gorgeous white sand beach which is unique in the area as there are no rocks, making swimming much easier as you can walk directly from your room onto the beach and into the ocean. From April to November you can enjoy watching, or even taking part in kitesurfing, as the winds can blow up during these months.

Day 2: Visit El Ñuro and Los Organos Beach - Swimming with Turtles May Be Possible
This morning you will join a group and embark on an unforgettable adventure to El Ñuro beach, a picturesque fishing village boasting a charming pier. In the right season, this tranquil spot has become a haven for sea turtles, and during your guided tour, you’ll have the unique opportunity to observe these gentle creatures up close. If you’re lucky, you might even enjoy a magical swimming encounter with them!
Next, you’ll head to the stunning Los Organos beach, where you’ll have ample free time to unwind and soak up the serenity of this idyllic coastal spot. Take a leisurely stroll along the shoreline, bask in the sun, or simply sit back and relish the peaceful atmosphere.
To round off your day head into your hotel in time for a relaxing sundowner, providing the perfect ending to an unforgettable day

Day 3: Whale Watching Boat Trip - Deep Sea Fishing - Free Time at the Beach
This morning you will be collected, by your guide and group, from your hotel and start out on what could only be described as an exhilarating experience, whale watching.
Humpback whales make an annual migration toward the equator to breed and give birth and so during the months of July to October you can see them, sometimes even from the beach. But in the case of this tour you will board motorised boats to ensure you can have a close but safe encounter with these magnificent giants of the sea.
You will get close enough to see their pectoral fins, their knobbly heads and perhaps even feel the splash as they wave ‘goodbye’ with their black and white tail fin.
After some time observing the whales you will return to the dock and continue into the town of Los Organos to have a look through their marine museum, here you can learn about the different types of wildlife found in this area and see how life has changed over the years for the people. Ongoing research and scientific investigation is conducted from this museum.
Later, you will be transferred back to your hotel in Vichayito in time for sunset and relaxing.
Alternatively, if you are travelling outside of the whale migrating season, you can embark of a deep sea fishing trip. Day 4: Visit Salar Negritos & Punta Balcones Beach
With a private guide and driver you will depart to visit Negritos. Here you will visit the «Salar de Negritos», an impressive landscape covered in a white blanket of salt. You will be able to take spectacular artistic pictures in this area.
You’ll then visit Punta Balcones, one of the best known beaches in this town. At Punta Balcones you can appreciate the beauty of the sea and appreciate the slender lighthouse that guides the boats at night.
Afterward, there is the chance to visit Las Capullanas and Lobitos beaches.

Day 5: Free Time in Vichayito
Today has been left at your leisure to enjoy and relax on the beach and your surroundings.

Day 6: Visit Cerros de Amotape National Park - Transfer to Punta Sal
On a shared tour you will see a spectacular and fascinating oasis of life that is Cerros de Amotape National Park. This national park is a protected tropical forest and is home to many birds and animals. Should you be extremely lucky you could spot a jaguar, but as they are so elusive, it’s more likely you’ll spot many birds and perhaps even some monkeys.
Due to its proximity to the city of Tumbes it is said that this is the area ‘where the forest meets the sea’. You will have time to walk on the paths and take photos in picturesque locations throughout the park.
After your time in the National Park you will be transferred privately to your hotel in Punta Sal.

Day 7 & 8: Free Time in Punta Sal
These days have been left at your leisure to enjoy and relax on the beach and your surroundings.
There are many optional activities which you can pre-book or organise through your hotel. Some of these include kayaking; paddle boarding; snorkelling, biking and fishing.

Day 9: Visit Zorritos Beach - Manglares de Tumbes - Travel to Your Hotel in Tumbes
Today you will join a guide and group to enjoy Zorritos beach, which is located in Tumbes region in the very north of Perú. Here the water is warm throughout the year, Zorritos is a paradise, the perfect place to relax, with its wide sand and delicious food, don’t forget to eat the famous ceviche de las conchas negras (ceviche made of black clams).
On this full day tour you will also visit Manglares de Tumbes which is a sanctuary for an outstanding number of birds and bird species. On a good day you could see magnificent frigate birds, Peruvian pelicans, little blue herons, cocoi herons, yellow-crowned night-herons, white ibises, ringed and green kingfishers, whimbrels and snowy egrets. A bird enthusiast’s dream! And if you can take your eyes away from the sky there are sea creatures and land creatures to encounter as well.
You will then be transferred to your hotel in Tumbes and the rest of the day is at leisure in this colourful town.

Day 10: Transfer to Tumbes Airport and Departure
In time for your onward flight, you will be transferred to Tumbes airport where you will board your flight to your next destination.
